This is a well written book on spies, lies and espionage that will give you a glimpse into the covert actions of every government. The book also gives you a new perspective on watching the evening news and the back door cyber war and technology hacking that occurs in government all trying for a upper hand on another country.
This author has a great future in this writing genre.
DS Kane has written a book that will keep you thrilled, excited up to the end. I won't go into the storyline because I don't want to ruin it for you, but I will say that DS has done an excellent job of writing this well written book. I recommend it to all who like to be thrilled while reading a good book.

I have read all 6 books and totally enjoyed them. Good characters plus a believable plot. Best read in order, I did not, read book 3 first,(it was free) then 4,5,6 followed by 1 & 2. I usually discover an author I like from a free book, then I purchase all of his others.
I am a huge fan of Ludlum so finding this book was a surprise since I had not heard of Mr Kane until now. I will be looking for more of his writing and will definitely go back and read book one of this read. Fast paced, intriguing, and all around good. I could stand for a little less of the graphic violence but I see what he was trying to do with it so can't knock it for that. You won't be disappointed.
Although this is book two, I bought this because it was on sale. After reading this book and not being able to put it down, I now have to go back and read book one. The main character gets sucked into a world of intrigue and espionage as the readers get drawn in as well.
This is a well written novel that flows well, and has wonderfully defined characters. This is a must read for anyone who enjoys espionage, thrillers and suspense. Thank you DS Kane for a wonderful creation.
D S Kane's insights into the world of espionage and subterfuge are truly unnerving. His main character is the consummate computer hacker whose computer hard drives have been stolen. The tale of what happens next is a fast paced, thrilling and, at times, horrifying look at the underbelly of international spy games and manipulations. Kane writes about this world with a decade's worth of experience under his belt. I was intrigued as well as dismayed to be introduced to the tactics used by various agents and agencies in seeking to send just the right sort of response to those who transgress. The author is a skillful writer who knows of what he speaks.
Engaging spy thriller with multiple layers and heavy interest on Israels' Mossad making for both a unique and quick read. I had no problems picking up the action never having read Book 1 as it would refer back to it as I cruised along, but story does end in a cliffhanger and contains some course language (amusing in that William would alternate between using the words "Rats" and the f-bomb which seemed out of character at times). Really graphic torture scene at the 3/4 mark which is still sticking with me even now meaning author does a great job creating empathy for his characters. Very good book and compelling such that I would like to read more!
