Mysteries of the Kingdom of God is a new book expounding from the Holy Scriptures with a primary emphasis on prophetic interpretation and the future complete realization of the Kingdom of God on earth. The author of this book confesses to be a scientifically minded independent thinker, unbiased by denominational affiliation. Rather, Word of Truth and Spirit of Truth provide the guiding light. Many important scriptural concepts are presented and explained. Some concepts are very old while some break new ground. Difficult Scripture passages are unlocked by using the ancient God-given principles of Only Scripture, Type and Antitype and Two or Three Witnesses. This book details how the Hebrew Holy Days of the spring symbolically portray the major events of the First Coming of Christ. Likewise, it is explained how the Holy Days of the Fall will be fulfilled by the major events of the Second Coming of Christ. This provides a temporal framework for the events that will close out this present age. The Seven Seals of Revelation are presented as time periods during which names are written into the Book of Life. They reveal the history of God's people from Adam until the coming of the eternal Kingdom of the Father. Similarly, the Seven Trumpets are shown to represent the seven actions Jehovah takes down through time in order to rid this world of sin and the adversaries in preparation for the Kingdom of the Father. Furthermore, the identity and actions of the Seven Prophetic Beasts are exposed. The Image of the Beast (Rev. 13) is shown to be synonymous with the Scarlet Beast (Rev. 17). The Seven Days of Creation are not considered a nuts and bolts description of how the world around us came into being. Rather, the Days of Creation are presented as a symbolic illustration of the ongoing creative work of God that will be perfected, spiritually and physically by the end of the sixth creative day. This book explains how the Kingdom of God is arriving in three successive stages of exponentially increasing magnitude the Kingdoms of the Holy Spirit, the Son and the Father. Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy is deciphered directly from the Scripture. The last onehalf of the seventieth week is "the time of Jacob's trouble" (Jer. 307). This is Israel's ultimate trial before the nation is reestablished in the Kingdom of the Son. The "little season" of Satan's release is a onehundredyear period that ties up all loose ends before the Kingdom of the Father arrives. The nature and relationships of the Father, Christ, Gabriel, Satan, the other messengers and mankind are discussed. The many positions of authority (crowns) belonging to Jesus Christ are brought to light. It is explained how we know that the judgment of the dead and then the living is presently ongoing in preparation for the Second Coming, and that those judged fall into four categories. It is shown that the family of God is an expanding household as part of the ultimate creative purpose. The amazing potential of humans as spiritual larvae is made plain. A detailed Chronology is developed from scriptural time bridges and markers, from Adam to the advent of the Kingdom of the Father. This book includes, illustrations, summaries and a glossary. The thesis is clearly woven into vivid explanations supported by The Bible and reference source materials. The Timetable at the back of the book is superb!This book is very valuable as reference material for: ministers, seminary students, bible study groups, lay churchmen/women, and individuals with an open mind for dispelling misconceptions about "biblical concepts" and "events pertaining to Christ's second coming."
There is an also an audience for non-faith based individuals who are eager to learn more about bible prophecy and the meaning of the complicated symbolism in The Bible.
Certain portions of the book can standalone as study subjects, i.e., Noah, The Seven Seals. The Seven Beasts, The Nature of God, Timelines, etc.

A good book written by a good man. Joey Jones
This book is well written and well researched. All the main points of the bible and it's prophesies are described with details that make you better educated on Christian religion philosophies and beliefs. I personally learned a lot from this book. My recommendation to anyone is read the book.
What a prodigious effort is involved here, explaining and interpreting many facets of the Christian experience that are only vaguely known to most. Conner has done exhaustive research on all aspects of the Old and New Testaments, presenting them in an orderly and comprehensible fashion. Anyone interested in exploring the many Christian mysteries will find this an invaluable addition to their libraries. I highly recommend this book
As a second year ministry training student, I found Mysteries Of The Kingdom Of God to be a welcomed addition to my reference books. It expounded on so many of the topics we are currently studying. it reads easily and is very explanatory. I look forward to studying it further. Thank you Dr. Connor for your hard work.
Great read and very detailed!
As a lay Christian and lifelong student of the Bible, I have found Dr. Conner's book a tremendous help in navigating the intricacies of some of the more obscure, symbolic passages of both the Old and New Testaments. The clear, user-friendly format, the patient explanations, the continuous references to book, chapter, and verse all aid in making this book a wonderful resource to anyone interested in the Bible's story.
I definitely give this work 5 stars. I can't think of anyone serious about their Christian faith who wouldn't benefit from reading and studying this book. Be aware that there is controversy. Conner has explanations for several mysteries that for me have been hard to unravel and for which others have been less able to explain. He backs up his ideas and interpretations with intense research and I believe he may be right. I look forward to reading Mysteries again and the passages he refers to in the Bible and making up my own mind. My wife is Catholic and, if you remember, Pope John Paul 2nd made it a point to travel to several different countries and apologize for events in the Church's history. If you are Catholic and have thin skin, you may not be able to take all portions of this book. However, if Pope John Paul could acknowledge these issues I hope you can also, and I am convinced you will learn something that will be worthwhile. If nothing else, I can guarantee you will be studying your bible more, and that can't be a bad thing. God Bless, Mike
